Since 1997, Lori has been a qualified trainer and consultant in United Way of America’s program evaluation systemand has provided training and consultation in outcome measurement for organizations across the nation.  In 2007, she was recruited by The Rensselaerville Institute’s Center for Outcomes as a senior consultant to provide outcome management training and technical assistance to agencies in the New York/New Jersey area, and has since become proficient in several other outcome measurement models.  Lori has provided outcome measurement training to organizations such as the Performance Institute in Washington, DC, Center for Nonprofits in Trenton, NJ, the Mississippi United Ways Association, and New Jersey/New York Girl Scout Training Cluster, which selected Lori as the 2007 recipient of its Compass Award for Excellence and Leadership in Learning Facilitation.

In 2006, Lori served as principal investigator conducting a major evaluation for the Foundation Center in New York and all five of its regional offices, sponsored by the Kellogg Foundation.  This national project was designed to measure the effectiveness of one of the organization’s long-running programs.  The process included focus group research, surveys, a meta-analysis of existing information, and an Open Space Technology workshop.  The resulting report was used by the Foundation Center to modify the program in the context of its recent Strategic Plan.
