Libby Villavicencio
Director of Midwest Programs

Libby Villavicencio brings to The Rensselaerville Institute her in-depth experience as an officer of several nonprofits, which combined with her active role with the United Way of Central Ohio, and as a middle school teacher, gives her a special perspective on the needs of foundations, government, and nonprofit organizations.

Libby most recently was the Vice President of Advancement for LifeCare Alliance in Columbus, Ohio, where she launched and managed a combined capital and endowment campaign of $5 million dollars.

Prior to this she was the Senior Director of Catholic Social Services, the Executive Director of the United Way Professional Advisory Council, the Director of Supportive Services for the National Church Residences, a family shelter manager for Volunteers of America, and a middle school teacher.

Libby has a M.S. degree in Human Services Management from Franklin University and a B.S. from Ohio University.

Among Libby’s many awards, she was honored as the first Rensselaerville Institute employee of the year in 2004, and received a Best Practices Award in 1999 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Libby is an energetic, enthusiastic, and articulate consultant and presenter. She assists Foundations, Government, and nonprofit organizations to drive results-based grantmaking, fundraising and performance.
