David Watson-Hallowell
Senior Program Consultant

David has played a key role in the growth and development of The Rensselaerville Institute’s outcome tools and guidance since 1990.  Major project engagements have included delivering the Institute’s outcome related products with government, foundations and a variety of nonprofit organizations in a variety of program areas. Clients include:

    • New York State Department of Substance Abuse Services
    • NYC Department of Health, Human Resources Administration, Head Start
    • Tennessee Departments of Health, and Finance and Administration
    • United Kingdom Department of Health
    • State of Missouri A& D prevention
    • National Association of Developmental Disabilities Planning Councils
    • State of New Mexico – Children Youth & Families
    • Appalachian Community and Learning Project (ACLP)

David has led training programs through the country and the UK and currently leads the Real Time Community Change efforts in rural towns across Appalachia in both Florida and Ohio. He has a diverse range of experience in presenting, training and building core capacity for staff members to increase their effectiveness.

Dave’s educational background is in psychology and he holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from The Graduate Faculty in New York. Relevant work experience includes over five years in New York City in the community mental health field, both as a psychotherapist and program manager, and three years as a training and development specialist in the commercial banking industry.
