2008 Outcome Workshops for MicroEdge® Users

The Rensselaerville Institute (TRI) and MicroEdge® (ME) have partnered to help you get the strongest possible improvements in human lives and conditions for the dollars you invest by teaching you how to effectively measure and manage your organization’s outcomes.

In 2007, TRI and ME hosted 35 foundations at our learning center in upstate New York for workshops on outcome themes related to using MicroEdge® solutions. In addition to the more in-depth sessions, for those who have already started down the outcomes trail, this year we are once again holding our initial offering to help you connect MicroEdge® solutions to the information you need to achieve strong returns on grant investments.

Who Should Attend?

We encourage organizations to send at least two persons representing grants management and grant making. If your organization has an evaluation staff, we encourage them to attend as well.

Workshops for 2008:

April 14 - 15	Outcome Tools in MicroEdge – This is the primer we gave last year to 35 foundations with a strong focus on application questions that predict success (not for repeat attendance). RSVP by – April 7

May 12 -13	Going Deeper – Applying an outcome framework to other modes of investment, segmenting your portfolio, result based grant selection and management, and reporting value to your board. RSVP by – May 5
