READ - Reading Excellence and Discovery Foundation

TRI is currently working with READ – Reading Excellence and Discovery Foundation to develop and test ways to verify the results that READ programs achieve for the teenage tutors who deliver READ’s services to elementary school children.  READ already has, and has had for years, a very practical method for verifying their results for the elementary students.  Sixty-six (66) percent of them (now over 7,000 students in 8 years) have improved their reading by at least one grade.

One of READ’s foundation supporters believes that there is significant benefit for the tutors as well, and is supporting TRI to help READ verify those results.
